Job Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Network Engineer with 5-6 years of relevant data-center networking experience. In this role, you will be responsible for the configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of our clients' remote network devices, including comprehensive troubleshooting of internet routing issues. You'll oversee and logically resolve technical challenges, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability of all network hardware and software components. This position requires strong technical expertise, a proactive approach to monitoring, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities :

• Network Configuration & Maintenance : Install, configure, maintain, and provide ongoing support for all network hardware and software components. This includes firewalls, routers, switches, wireless access points, and VPNs, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Troubleshooting & Resolution : Act as a subject matter expert in troubleshooting network issues, including complex internet routing problems, latency issues, and packet loss, to achieve timely resolutions.
• Monitoring & Optimization : Configure and utilize network monitoring tools / platforms (e.g., syslog, Zabbix) to proactively monitor, verify, and maintain hardware and software performance within defined parameters. Take necessary upgrade tasks to optimize performance.
• Security & Compliance : Perform regular security checks on network systems. Develop and implement policies for access control, robust security measures, system backups, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Documentation & Support : Oversee and logically troubleshoot technical issues to reach a resolution. Provide essential technical support to users when necessary.
• Collaboration & Communication : Partner with peers and vendors, communicating effectively to execute recommended solutions for service-impacting situations. Act as a great team player, ready to interact with internal and external customers.
• Proactive Management : Continuously monitor, verify, and maintain network hardware and software performance, taking necessary upgrades to optimize performance.
