Job descriptionProvide direct and immediate care to patients experiencing acute medical conditions or injuries. Assess patient needs efficiently to offer appropriate emergency treatment and stabilize patients for further care. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and treatment continuity. Perform necessary medical procedures such as intubation, central line insertion, and ultrasound-guided resuscitations. Maintain accurate and concise patient documentation to ensure seamless transition of care. Participate in regular training and educational sessions to stay updated with the latest in emergency medicine practices. Maintain compliance with medical protocols and standards in the emergency department. Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance emergency department operation and patient outcomes.

Qualifications and Skills
- Must have a proven track record in emergency medicine with experience in handling critical situations effectively.
- Possess strong foundational skills in emergency practices such as emergency airway management and trauma care.

- Should have excellent decision-making and critical thinking skills to manage high-pressure scenarios calmly.
- Required skills include MEM, FEM, MRCEM, MD, and DNB, demonstrating a breadth of knowledge in emergency medical disciplines.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced emergency department environment.
- Must have robust communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
