We are seeking a dedicated Retina Surgeon to join our team of medical professionals. The successful candidate will focus on diagnosing and treating retinal disorders, as well as performing advanced surgical interventions. Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage complex retinal diseases such as macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and retinal detachments.
- Perform surgical procedures including vitrectomy, retinal detachment repairs, and laser treatments.
- Guide patients through their treatment options and provide education on retinal health.
- Conduct pre-operative evaluations and post-operative follow-ups to ensure optimal recovery.
- Collaborate with other specialists to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in ongoing medical education and research to enhance clinical practice.
- Document patient interactions thoroughly and maintain accurate medical records.
Requirements
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution.Completion of residency in Ophthalmology.Fellowship training specifically in Retina Surgery.Board certification or eligibility in Ophthalmology.Current, valid medical license to practice.At least 3 years of experience in a clinical setting with a focus on retinal care.Expertise in various retinal surgical procedures and techniques.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.Commitment to continued professional development and quality patient care.
