Assistant Manager- VD & Localisation

Role Purpose-

Timely development of child part and saving through Localization. New Child Part Development in close coordination with New Model Development (NMD) & QA departments.

Roles & Responsibilities-

All Child parts (plastic, sheet metal, rubber, injection moulding) for new projects should be developed as per requirement.

Good evaluation competency of suppliers likewise able to do SWOT analysis and to relate with our child part requirement so that further can be added Approved Vendor List.

art should meet the customer spec & requirements. Timely sample submission as per the customer milestones.

1st principle costing of the child parts to be done. Analysis and A to A comparison of suppliers' quotes.

art should be out of development stage and there should be no concern regarding the development.

Submission of documents like PPAP,ELV others. Part of audit whenever needed.

Release the tooling & part PO to the supplier and agreement with supplier.

Co-ordinate during PDCA activity. Regular updation & analysis of own KPI.

Part should meet the customer spec & requirements. Timely sample submission as per the customer milestones.

Ontime payment as per agreed terms. Procurement to Pay(P to P) process need to follow.

Digitalization, vendor upgradation, alternate sourcing, purchase Order (PO) / Letter of Intent (LOI) release, co-ordinate for TQM activity.

Knowledge of supplier base in North India.

Knowledge of different technologies like Tooling and Die for sheet metal and plastic parts, Terminals, Wiring Harness, Adhesives, pressure die casting, plating & powder coating, etc.

Knowledge of Quality Systems requirements, PERT and CPM Activity.

Supplier management, Negotiation, Crisis management, Leadership, Communication, ORACLE proficiency is required.

Role Preference-

B.Tech. / B.E. (Mechanical) is must have qualification.

4-10 years of total experience.

Auto industry background preference.
