Job description

In this dynamic field-based role, you will be responsible for end-to-end business development through an agency model. Your primary focus will be on recruiting talented individuals as advisors / agents, equipping them with the necessary skills through comprehensive training, and providing ongoing mentorship to drive aggressive business growth. You will foster a culture of excellence and ensure adherence to all business processes and norms, while guiding your team to provide exceptional service and appropriate financial solutions to our clients.

Key Recruitment & Onboarding :

  • Actively identify and recruit motivated part-time job seekers and other suitable candidates to build a strong network of advisors / agents.
  • Effectively onboard new agents, ensuring they understand the company's vision, products, and operational procedures.

Training & Team Building :

  • Design and deliver comprehensive training programs for your team on various aspects of lead generation, including leveraging social media, networking, referrals, and word-of-mouth strategies.
  • Coach and mentor agents on prospecting leads effectively and converting them into clients through local field visits and direct client engagement.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and training sessions to enhance product knowledge, sales skills, and customer service capabilities.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting continuous learning and professional development.
  • Business Development & Sales Drive :

  • Set clear business development targets for your team and provide ongoing support and motivation to achieve and exceed these goals.
  • Drive overall business development through your team by identifying new market opportunities, strategizing sales approaches, and implementing effective sales campaigns.
  • Conduct client visits independently or alongside your team to support complex sales, build relationships, and provide high-level solutions.
  • Customer-Centric Solutions :

  • Ensure that your team is fully equipped and committed to providing the right financial solutions that precisely match customer needs and objectives.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and feedback, addressing any concerns to maintain high service standards.
  • Process Adherence & Compliance :

  • Ensure strict adherence to all company business processes, policies, and regulatory norms.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to team performance, sales activities, and compliance.
  • Qualifications & Skills :

  • Experience : Proven track record (typically 3-7 years) in sales, business development, or agency management, preferably within the financial services, insurance, or related sectors.
  • Leadership & Management : Demonstrated experience in recruiting, training, leading, and motivating a sales team to achieve targets.
  • Sales Acumen : Strong understanding of the sales cycle, lead generation strategies, and client relationship management.
  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence.
  • Training & Coaching : Proven ability to effectively train, coach, and develop team members.
  • Field Work Experience : Comfortable with extensive field work and client visits.
  • Results-Oriented : Highly self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Integrity : High level of integrity and commitment to ethical sales practices, especially when dealing with financial solutions.
