Job Description :

As a founding team member at NebulaIQ, the Backend Lead will architect the core of our cloud observability platform. You'll design high-performance data collection systems, scalable distributed tracing backends, and real-time analytics engines that process massive volumes of telemetry data. This role requires an expert in GoLang / Rust who can build robust backend systems that power our solution. Your work will form the foundation of our product's ability to provide unprecedented visibility into cloud-native :

• Design and implement the core collectors, processors, and storage systems for our cloud observability platform.
• Architect scalable systems for ingesting, processing, and analyzing telemetry data from distributed applications.
• Build high-performance backends for unified data collection agents that can handle production-scale workloads.
• Develop real-time and historical data processing pipelines for metrics, logs, and distributed traces.
• Create efficient storage solutions optimized for time-series data and distributed tracing.
• Design APIs that allow our frontend to deliver powerful visualization and exploration capabilities.
• Establish backend architecture that ensures reliability, security, and performance at scale.
• Work closely with the VP of Engineering to implement the technical vision for our platform.
• Help define the technical standards and best practices for our growing engineering :
• 4+ years of experience (5 years preferred) in backend development.
• Strong proficiency in GoLang and / or Rust (Rust experience strongly preferred).
• Demonstrated experience building distributed systems and microservices.
• Understanding of data pipelines and event-driven architectures.
• Knowledge of database systems (SQL and NoSQL).
• Experience with cloud services and infrastructure (AWS / GCP / Azure).
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
