Position : Chief Operating Officer – Supply Chain

Location : Gurgaon, India Industry : E-commerce / Quick Commerce / Perishable Goods Experience : 15–18 years Compensation : Up to ₹1.5 Cr CTC

Role Overview :

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced

COO – Supply Chain

to lead our end-to-end operations, with a focus on last-mile delivery and supply chain optimization for perishable goods. The ideal candidate must come with strong experience in

e-commerce

quick commerce

domains and have managed high-velocity supply chains, particularly for

perishables

such as groceries, dairy, fresh produce, or FMCG.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead Supply Chain Strategy : Drive the strategic planning and execution of the full supply chain lifecycle, with particular focus on efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and scalability. Last-Mile Logistics Excellence : Spearhead the design and execution of highly efficient last-mile delivery systems tailored for perishable goods. Inventory and Warehouse Optimization : Oversee warehouse operations and ensure real-time inventory management across multiple hubs. Cold Chain Management : Establish and refine cold-chain logistics, ensuring quality and freshness of goods from source to customer. Cross-functional Leadership : Collaborate with procurement, tech, marketing, and customer service teams to ensure alignment of operations with business objectives. Team Leadership & Development : Build, lead, and mentor high-performing supply chain and operations teams. Data-Driven Operations : Leverage data analytics and technology to drive predictive decision-making, reduce delivery times, and increase fill rates. Vendor & Partner Management : Cultivate strong relationships with logistics partners, warehousing providers, and last-mile delivery aggregators.

Key Requirements : 15 to 18 years

of experience in operations / supply chain, preferably in

e-commerce

quick commerce

perishable goods

domains. Proven track record in

last-mile delivery management

especially for perishable goods. Strong experience in

cold chain logistics

real-time inventory management

• Prior leadership role in companies like Blinkit, Zepto, BigBasket, Dunzo, Swiggy Instamart, or similar. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup-like environment. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Background :

Engineering or Operations degree; MBA is a plus. Experience in scaling supply chain networks from ground up.
