Job descriptionPlan, architect, and build scalable design systems that power critical business workflows. Investigate and fix performance issues across our data stack (Postgres, MongoDB, Elastic, Redis), ensuring reliability and speed. Guide and mentor developers through code reviews, design sessions, and technical deep-dives. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams to define engineering priorities that align with business objectives. Take end-to-end ownership of core systems—ensuring they're well-documented, resilient, and easy to evolve. Continuously evaluate and introduce new technologies or frameworks to improve system efficiency and scalability.
Must Have’s
- Expert-level proficiency in Python, with a strong foundation in building scalable backend systems.
- Deep experience working with data stores like Postgres, MongoDB, Elastic, and Redis.
- Proven ability to design and implement robust, performant systems supporting complex business operations.
- A strong track record of debugging, optimizing, and resolving performance bottlenecks in production systems.
- Leadership in mentoring engineers and promoting software development best practices.
- Excellent communication skills and a strategic mindset to align technical work with business goals.
