Key Responsibilities
Design, select, install, and maintain instruments such as sensors, transmitters, flow meters, pressure gauges etc.
Ensure proper calibration and configuration of all instruments and control systems.
Integrate field instruments with PLC, SCADA and DCS systems.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of automation and instrumentation systems.
Diagnose and resolve instrumentation and control system faults quickly to minimize downtime.
Maintain a log of breakdowns, repairs, and root cause analysis (RCA).
Monitor and fine-tune automated processes for efficiency, safety, and product quality.
Implement and optimize PID control loops and other control strategies.
Support recipe control, batching systems, and CIP automation.
Work closely with production, quality, and maintenance teams to support manufacturing needs.
Support the commissioning of new equipment or process lines.
Train plant operators and technicians on instrumentation systems and procedures.
Participate in automation upgrade projects, installation of new equipment, and system expansions.
Ensure all instrumentation complies with food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, FSSC).
Maintain up-to-date technical documentation, calibration records, and SOPs.
Support audits by providing necessary compliance and calibration records.
Desired Candidate Profile :
1. Should have working knowledge of field instruments with PLC, SCADA and DCS systems.
2.Skilled in diagnosing and rectifying faults of Instrumentation.
3. Should be handle shift independently and able to work in any shift.
5.Should be keep record and maintain documents of instrumentation related.
6. Should have working knowledge of SAP, AutoCAD and MS-Excel.
