We are looking for a dynamic and result-driven Sales Manager to oversee General Trade (GT) or Modern Trade (MT) or E-Commerce (E-Com) operations in the Gujarat territories.
About the Role
The ideal candidate should have 2 years of experience in sales and business development within the FMCG or consumer goods industry. This role requires a strategic mindset to drive sales growth, build strong relationships with retailers and distributors, and enhance brand presence across multiple sales channels.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth in General Trade or Modern Trade.
- Manage and expand the existing distribution network while onboarding new retail partners and distributors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including retailers, distributors.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with marketing and supply chain teams to ensure product availability, visibility, and promotional execution.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as per business objectives.
- Drive negotiations with key accounts and modern trade partners for better margins and shelf space.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and compliance with trade regulations.
- Train and mentor sales representatives to enhance overall sales performance.
Qualifications
Bachelor's / master’s degree in business administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, preferably in FMCG, Food sales or retail.Strong understanding of General Trade, or Modern Trade dynamics.Willingness to travel extensively within Gujarat territories.Required Skills :
