LABINDIA ANALYTICAL INSTRUMENTS PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a Field Services Engineer to join their team in Chennai. This is a full-time position that requires individuals who are skilled in UV / Vis Spectroscopy, PH Meter, Karl Fischer Titration, and other analytical instruments. Fluency in Tamil and a strong customer service mindset is essential for this role.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining UV / Vis Spectroscopy equipment to support customer needs and ensure smooth operations.
- Hands-on experience in PH Meter calibration and troubleshooting, providing accurate and timely solutions to end-users.
- Strong knowledge and practical expertise in Karl Fischer Titration for precise moisture content analysis.
- Experience in field service operations, including installation, maintenance, and repair of analytical instruments.
- Competence in handling Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) to ensure continuous technical support and customer satisfaction.
- Experience and understanding of Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS) to support diverse analytical requirements.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and solve client issues promptly.
- Fluency in Tamil, including both spoken and written, for effective communication with local clients.
Roles and Responsibilities
Conduct on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of analytical instruments to ensure they function optimally.Provide technical support and training to clients on the usage and maintenance of laboratory equipment.Perform routine service audits and troubleshooting to ensure analytical instruments meet operational standards.Collaborate with the service team to schedule and execute maintenance activities and manage service records.Respond promptly to customer inquiries and service requests, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.Prepare and maintain detailed service reports and documentation for completed and scheduled services.Assist in identifying and implementing improvements in service delivery and technical support processes.Stay updated on industry trends, standards, and technologies to continuously enhance service quality.
