Job Overview :
We are seeking a highly experienced and expert Oracle SCM and Manufacturing Techno-Functional Consultant with over 12 years of overall IT experience and at least 10 years specifically in the SCM / Manufacturing domain within Oracle EBS.
This is a crucial techno-functional role, requiring real-time, hands-on functional, product, and / or technical experience, ideally with a background in L3 level support or equivalent in-depth knowledge.
You will provide expert consulting services, design and implement solutions, and troubleshoot highly complex issues for clients in the manufacturing industry.
Job Responsibilities :
- Complex Problem Resolution : Serve as a primary support engineer, troubleshooting and resolving highly complex techno-functional problems within Oracle EBS SCM and Manufacturing modules.
- Techno-Functional Expertise : Apply a high level of techno-functional skills and in-depth Oracle product knowledge to daily tasks, including understanding business processes, configuring functionality, and developing technical solutions.
- Customer Interaction & Service : Provide exceptional customer interaction and service expertise, directly engaging with customers to troubleshoot and resolve issues, answer business questions, and provide data analysis.
- Implementation Advice : Leverage the ability to relate product functionality to business processes, offering implementation advice to customers on how to meet their various business scenarios using Oracle EBS.
- Log & Trace Analysis : Proficiently read and decipher software Log and Trace files, acting upon findings to determine problem resolution and root cause.
- Functional Testing : Understand intricate business process flows and perform thorough functional testing as per business requirements, creating appropriate test scripts.
- Knowledge Sharing : Conduct training and knowledge sharing sessions for internal teams and potentially end-users, fostering continuous learning.
- Documentation & Training : Create and maintain comprehensive support documentation, including troubleshooting guides, FAQs, and knowledge bases.
Provide training to end-users on Oracle EBS functionalities.
Continuous Improvement : Seek innovative ways to improve the process of delivering solutions to customers and drive continuous improvement projects in IT support, service management, and documentation.Relationship Management : Focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with both internal teams and external customers.Requirements :
Overall Experience : Overall 12+ years of IT experience.Domain Experience : At least 10+ years of SCM / Manufacturing domain experience specifically in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS).Techno-Functional Expertise : Proven real-time hands-on functional / product and / or technical experience within Oracle EBS SCM / Manufacturing, with experience in L3 level support or equivalent in-depth knowledge.Oracle EBS Manufacturing Focus : Strong background in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) with a specific focus on Manufacturing (Advanced) modules.Module Experience : Experience with Oracle Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP), Oracle Manufacturing, Oracle Advanced Planning Command Center (APCC), Oracle Logistics, and Oracle Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).EBS Solution Analysis & Design : Ability to analyze, design, and configure EBS solutions for the Manufacturing (Advanced) module.Oracle Applications Architecture : Strong knowledge of Oracle Applications architecture, integration, and customization methodologies.SDLC & Testing : Experience with software development life cycles (SDLC), testing methodologies, and implementation practices.Technical Development : Ability to develop technical solutions to meet customer requirements.Reporting & Analytics : Experience in developing reports, dashboards, and analytics using Oracle business intelligence tools.Troubleshooting Methodology : Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues following AIM (Application Implementation Methodology) or similar structured approaches.Technical Skills : Proficient skills in SQL, PLSQL, Shell scripts, ADF (Application Development Framework), OAF (Oracle Applications Framework), Oracle Forms & Reports, and Workflows.Implementation & Support : Should have 8+ years of experience in Oracle SCM / MFG implementation & support projects.Project Experience : Should have worked in 4 or more Oracle ERP / Finance implementation or support projects as a Techno-Functional consultant.Communication : Must possess very good communication skills (both verbal and written English).Multi-lingual capabilities are a plus.
