Job Summary :

The Salesforce Technical Architect is a self-driving senior technical position in the Salesforce practice. The looks after all technical aspects of Salesforce implementation including technical design, integration design, data modelling, implementation planning, technical leadership, and release management. The TA works with the engagement lead, solution architect, business analyst and development team members to architect and design Salesforce solutions to solve business challenges.

This includes integration design between Salesforce and other business or technical applications and data sources. As a thought leader, the TA stays current on all aspects of the Salesforce ecosystem to recommend, document, and implement cutting edge technical solutions to solve the clients most pressing business :

• Solution Design & Architecture : Design and architect end-to-end Salesforce and Conga CPQ solutions that align with business requirements, best practices, and long-term scalability.
• Conga CPQ Expertise : Leverage deep knowledge of Conga CPQ configuration, pricing rules, product catalog, document generation, and integration capabilities to deliver optimal solutions.
• Salesforce Platform Expertise : Possess a strong understanding of the Salesforce platform, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud (preferred), Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, APIs, and data migration strategies.
• Integration Design : Design and oversee system integrations between Salesforce, Conga CPQ, and other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, billing, CRM).
• Technical Leadership : Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural standards, coding best practices, and performance optimization.
• Requirements Gathering & Analysis : Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather detailed requirements, analyze them for technical feasibility, and translate them into technical specifications.
• Configuration & Customization : Hands-on configuration and customization of Salesforce and Conga CPQ to meet specific business needs.
• Testing & Deployment : Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies and manage the deployment process across different environments.
• Performance Optimization & Troubleshooting : Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement solutions to ensure system stability and reliability.
• Documentation : Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and configuration guides.
• Staying Current : Continuously stay updated on the latest Salesforce and Conga CPQ features, functionalities, and best practices.
• Proposal Development for Organic Growth : Collaborate closely with Account Directors and Solution Architects in creating proposals for organic growth opportunities, assisting in defining the project approach, estimates, and underlying assumptions.
• Soft-Sales and Opportunity Identification : Actively identify and drive soft-sales (up-selling) opportunities or effectively articulate these opportunities to the appropriate internal channels.
• Mentorship & Guidance : Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance on Salesforce and Conga CPQ and Qualifications :
• At least 10+ years in a consulting function
• Education : Bachelors Degree (Computer Science)
• Minimum 7+ years of application design and development experience on the Salesforce platform
• Extensive and demonstrable expertise in Salesforce CPQ / Conga CPQ any one is mandatory.
• This includes a deep understanding of its core functionalities and best practices.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud
• Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs.
• Experience with integration tools and techniques (e.g., REST, SOAP, middleware).
• Proven ability to design and implement scalable and complex Salesforce and Conga CPQ solutions.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Consulting background with experience defining systems strategy and requirements, designing and prototyping, planning testing, and supporting training efforts
• Solid technical acumen on Agentforce
• Salesforce Platform Developer I certification
• Salesforce Platform Developer II certification
• Salesforce Sales Cloud and CPQ Certifications
• One or more Salesforce System / Application Architect :
• Conga CPQ Certification
• Knowledgeable with the technical foundation of Salesforce Data Cloud
• Potential candidate for Salesforce.
