The Senior Software Tester contributes to the delivery of products by carrying out testing activities as part of an agile team. This role involves creating test estimates, test approaches, and executing identified testing. The Senior Software Tester may also be responsible for the overall agile teams testing strategy and supporting junior team members.

This position reports to the Engineering Manager and is part of the Customer Sustaining Team of Engineering Department located in Bangalore and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to :

• Create and execute robust, repeatable, and maintainable test plans, implementing testing strategies aligned with departmental goals.
• Identify cross-team interdependencies and coordinate with other teams to incorporate them. Adjust plans as technology and business requirements change.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Customer Support teams to understand customer problems, provide updates, and enhance satisfaction through effective communication.
• Pair and swarm with team members and cross-functional teams to investigate, reproduce, and resolve Customer Escalations, Support Incidents, and Customer-found defects.
• Support recruitment activities and technical onboarding of new team members. Continuously develop skills, learn new technologies, and contribute to team improvement.
