Job descriptionFixing incident root causes Suggesting more agile and effective ways of working Take full ownership of incoming actions and issues and drive them to resolution. Work within a tight Cloud Operations multi-skilled team. Using the skills you have now : Sharing back what youve learned Handle some simple NSSR (Non Standard Service Requests) logged by customers : provide proposals to the customer and implement. Ensure contractual SLAs are met. Conform and adhere to the change management process for customer environments. Leverage existing full / partial automation from other teams to expedite deployments. Understand and contribute to processes and tools used by the team. Identify areas of operations quality deficit or automation opportunities. Contribute relevant automation and operation artifacts back to DXC Cloud offerings. Support POC deployments as required for client or automation development. Strong experience in system administration and deploying cloud solutions through Infrastructure as Code. Strong knowledge in AWS administration and support experience. Strong knowledge in the services for, but not limited to : S3, EC2, ECS, EBS, AMI VPC, Subnet, Route Table, Security Groups, NACL, VPG, etc. SSM, Patch Manager Elastic Load Balancing, Auto Scaling, WAF CloudWatch, CloudTrail, AWS Config CloudFormation Template AWS Costs and Pricing RDS setup and Configuration Experience in IPSec VPN between AWS and Customer Data Center. Experience in any vRouter, Proxy Server Configuration, and Setup. Excellent Administration experience in any Operating Systems (Windows 2012 R2, RHEL 6 / 7). Understanding network protocols and services (DNS, HTTP(S), SSH, FTP, SMTP, DHCP, TCP, IP, etc.). Understanding in any languages such as Python, PowerShell, Bash, Node.js, JavaScript, etc. will be an advantage. Understanding and practicing Security Best Practices. Excellent knowledge in ITSM Processes. Build and extend monitoring and dashboard solutions (Splunk, etc.) for internal and external clients. Experience in Configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, etc.). Bachelors degree in Information Science / Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. AWS SysOps Administrator Associate. AWS Certified Solution Architect Professional.
