Junior Engineer

Role Summary

This role is responsible for designing, writing and executing test scripts using Manual & automation frameworks using Selenium & C as a coding language. The selected candidate would integrate test suites into the test management system and custom test harnesses; and perform other testing-related duties as required.

This role will report to Lead - Quality Engineering and will work closely with Product Management, Development and Quality Engineering teams

Responsibilities

Develops test plans, test labs and test cases to test the system / application functionality effectively.

Ensures conformance to overall organizational quality standards and policies.

Participates in all aspects of testing, including functional, regression and system testing.

Works collaboratively with development during all stages of all projects to provide in process testing results.

Strong analytical thinking skills; problem-solving capability

Experience in an agile software development environment, with rapid feedback loops and quick release cycles.

Selection or identification of test cases for automation from existing test case documentation.

Applying Designing and Test Automation Strategy Document

Configure Selenium Test Environment for setup(ex : Java, Selenium WebDriver and TestNG etc.).

Configuration of Test Instance for all Manual Testing requirements.

Participation in Selenium Environment Setup with IDE.

Automation framework design and implementation according to project structure.

Creating, Enhancing, Debugging and Running Test Cases.

Organizing, monitoring defect management process Handling changes and conducting regression tests.

Find solutions for issues related to object identity issues and error handling.

Coordination of the members of the Test team and the development team to solve the issues.

Exp Required

Masters\Bachelors\Diploma Holders in Computer Science

• years of related work experience in Manual & automating test cases with Selenium in JAVA / or C

Experience and Knowledge on Testing principles and methods

Experience and knowledge with Heuristics on testing Web UI validations

Experience and knowledge on Testing Techniques

Experienced in developing test scripts / cases, executing and tracking of defects

Previous related work experience in test automation and performance testing.

Knowledge of API testing and DB testing with automation will be added on.

Experience in BDD / Hybrid / Data driven framework.

ISTQB Certification in Manual and Automation testing would be an added advantage.
