Kafka Developer

JOB DESCRIPTION

One of Insight Global’s clients is looking to onboard a Kafka Developer to their team. This individual will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Kafka-based data streaming applications and implementing and managing Kafka clusters, ensuring high availability and performance. The ideal candidate will have experience designing, developing, and maintaining high-performing data pipelines and real-time streaming applications, primarily using Java with Apache Kafka, Kafka Streams, and Apache Flink. This is a 6-month contract and will be working remotely from India. The contractor is expected to work till 11 : 00am PT Monday-Friday.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in computer science
• 5+ years of experience as an Integration Engineer or similar role
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience participating in Kafka streaming implementation projects
• Extensive knowledge of Kafka installation and administration
• Expertise in MongoDB
• Proficiency in Java and Python

Excellent communication skills

Mulesoft integration experience

14 / hr to $16 / hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
