Job description

Synez Technologies is looking for a seasoned ServiceNow Business Analyst with a strong background in ITSM processes and enterprise ServiceNow implementations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in understanding client needs, translating them into actionable requirements, and working closely with development teams to deliver scalable, high-quality ServiceNow solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Engage with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and validate business and functional requirements related to ITSM processes.
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria that can be used by the development team.
  • Facilitate client workshops, product demonstrations, requirement walkthroughs, and user acceptance testing (UAT) sessions.
  • Prepare high-quality functional documentation including process flow diagrams, BRDs, user guides, and reporting dashboards.
  • Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and the ServiceNow development team to ensure alignment and smooth project delivery.
  • Collaborate with project managers, QA teams, and ServiceNow developers to ensure timely and effective implementation of solutions.

Must-Have Skills

  • In-depth understanding of ITIL processes and ServiceNow ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, Knowledge Management, etc.).
  • Proven track record as a Business Analyst in ServiceNow or ITSM-related projects.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and process modeling skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder management.
  • Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments, with tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
  • Nice to Have

  • ServiceNow Business Analyst or ITIL certifications.
  • Experience with additional ServiceNow modules (HRSD, CSM, ITOM, etc.).
  • Familiarity with scripting or configuration on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Exposure to enterprise transformation or digital workflow projects.
