Job descriptionROLE Handling suppliers related to Mechanical / Electronics commodities viz. Sheet metal, Plastics & wiring harness commodity. System audit & process audit at all identified suppliers as per plan. On-time closure of observations. Performance monitoring and review of critical suppliers. Perform Monthly Quality Development Meeting with worst performing suppliers. Ensuring reduction in Line rejection / PDI rejection / field rejection due to supplier issues. Monthly communication with identified suppliers regarding concerns, change management & performance. Improve supplier capability for Manufacturing, Quality, Cost, & Delivery. Support supplier selection through robust qualification processes. Perform Vendor PPAP as per plan Customer Focus - Customer centric approach in every action. Ethical - Do what is right and not what is convenient. Collaborative - able to work collaboratively in CFT & Get on well with peoples at all levels. Agile - Quick learner & starting with the end in mind. Bold - Able to take calculated risk & decisions. Relevant manufacturing / engineering degree or diploma in mechanical / electronics / electrical. Must be good at problem solving -8D 04-06 years of experience. Good knowledge of quality core tools viz. APQP, PPAP & FMEA , MSA,SPC, Control plan
