Database Administrator

Job Description :

• Plan and implement database designs, including the creation and maintenance of cloud databases like SQL MI, SQL VMs, Azure SQL Databases
• Manage and monitor performance, security, and availability of databases
• Implement database backup and disaster recovery procedures like Always on etc
• Work with development teams to optimize database usage and query performance
• Maintain data integrity, implement security measures, and ensure compliance with data regulations
• Coordinate and manage migration of databases to Azure platform
• Provide technical support for database environments, including testing and installation of DBMS upgrades
• Identify and troubleshoot any database-related issues
• Document database policies, procedures, and standards, and ensure they are followed
• Perform capacity planning and demand forecasting for database system
