Manager- Plant Controller

Purpose :

Regional Plant controller will be the finance contact points for all the plants, sub-contracting and Depot locations within that region. He will work closely with Regional Manufacturing Leader and Plant Managers and support them in achieving their financial objectives.

Main deliverables under this role will be :

• Responsible for Plant month end closing activities
• Responsible for preparing and issuing monthly Plant MIS.
• Ensure accuracy of the physical inventory and reported results. Investigate and explain book vs physical adjustments.
• Implement the operational financial control procedures in the area, in accordance with internal policies or directives.
• Work closely with manufacturing operations to ensure accurate and timely capture of all production costs and effective analysis of production variances.
• Own the process of annual budgeting process by coordinating with various stakeholders in preparing the base working sheets for all cost drivers of the costs.
• Support Annual Budgeting activity for the Region, provide monthly variance analysis vs Budget.
• Support Capex Proposal activities at Plant level and share insights with HQ team.
• Support Fixed Asset Register validation activities.
• Review Standard Costing of products and support routing activities to arrive at realistic standard cost at plant level. Reduce under / over absorption costs.
• Plant Trial and GL balances review to ensure booking of costs in correct GL and recommend G / L corrections on a monthly basis.
• Ensure best practices are being followed for procurement activities and responsible for commercial sign off on cost comparison sheet for vendor selection.
• Support Operational excellence Projects and validate Project business case along with validation of actual savings on a monthly basis.
• Provide insights and new ideas for Cost Optimization and Savings opportunities at Sites.
