As a trainee, you’ll be regularly outdoors, working in the Northam area alongside supportive team members - people who have been with the company for years, so you will learn from some of the best in the industry.
You’ll be trained to maintain, repair and inspect many assets for the Water Corporation including pipes, chlorinators and services ensuring compliance with relevant business management processes and systems. You will also actively participate in safe job planning, team meetings and workplace inspections.

A traineeship offers you the opportunity to get paid while attaining a Certificate II in Water Industry Operations.

Are you eligible?
You will be doing some driving, so a WA C-class driver’s licence is essential (having a MR licence is desirable). If you’re local to Northam, enjoy being outside, have a strong awareness of safety and have a positive attitude to learn, we would love to hear from you.
No water experience? No problem. A passion for the outdoors and a desire to protect our precious drinking water sources is all you need. This is your opportunity to develop into a skilled operator and gain exposure to Western Australia’s water industry.
