Job Description
The Senior Operations Manager supports the effective implementation of APD’s programs by overseeing day-to-day operational functions, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and quality standards. This role plays a key part in coordinating resources, managing team, processes, and supporting teams to deliver impactful programs. Working closely with the Deputy Director – Livelihood, the Operations Manager helps align operational strategies with program goals, donor engagement and organizational priorities. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Requirements
Qualifications :
- Postgraduate degree in Social Sciences, Public Health, Disability Studies, Rehabilitation, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5–10 years of program management experience in the nonprofit sector, preferably in disability services or social development.
- Proven leadership in managing multiple programs, teams, and operations across multiple geographies.
- Strong ability to build and manage strategic partnerships.
- Fluency in English and Kannada; proficiency in other languages is an added advantage. ________________________________________
