Job role Overview
As part of our Sales Team at Upstep Academy of Chess, you’ll be the first point of contact for parents looking to enhance their children’s learning through chess. Your role will be pivotal in understanding their needs, offering them the right courses, and building long-lasting relationships with our global community.
Key Responsibilities
- First Point of Contact : Serve as the primary contact for parents inquiring about chess courses for their children. Listen actively to understand the child’s needs and skill level, providing tailored recommendations for the most suitable chess programs.
- Demo Class Booking : Engage with parents to book demo classes, ensuring the chosen program aligns with the child’s requirements, and effectively guiding them through the process.
- Achieve Sales Targets : Strive to meet or exceed monthly sales goals by converting leads into enrollments through strong communication, relationship-building, and timely follow-ups.
- Tech-Savvy Operations : Maintain fluency in using CRM systems and video conferencing tools, ensuring all lead information, interactions, and progress are updated accurately and promptly.
- Collaborative Teamwork : Work closely with colleagues across departments, offering support, sharing insights, and contributing to a high-performing, cohesive sales environment.
Qualification
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage parents and articulate the benefits of our chess programs.A proven track record in meeting sales targets, especially in consultative sales roles.Familiarity with CRM platforms is an advantage.1 to 5 years experience for Executive and 5+ years experience Sr. Executive in Business Development profile driven by targets and deadlinesAvailability to work six days a week.
