The Company

Our client is a reputable leading engineering contractor offering a wide range of engineering services across multiple industry sectors such as defence, rail and manufacturing works.

The Role

Our client currently has an exciting opportunity for x2 Maintenance Electriciansto join their Sydney team for immediate start. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our site’s electrical systems.

This role will be based in one of our clients locations in Sydney, Banksmeadow area.

Your Main Responsibilities

Isolate equipment for maintenance and production requirements
Safely execute electrical maintenance
Complete fault finding and repairs of electrical systems and equipment
Complete quality handovers with other maintenance teams as required
Maintain statutory electrical inspections and records as required

What are we looking for?

A minimum of 2 + years experience as an Electrician in a heavy industrial manufacturing or commercial environment

PLC fault finding and programming experience

Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics

Instrumentation cert 4 and HV switching competency are highly regarded.

Work at Heights Qualifications or willingness to obtain.

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
