Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mainframe Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing and maintaining mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, CICS, and REXX. You will be responsible for application development, enhancement, maintenance, and support in a large-scale mainframe Responsibilities :

Develop, test, and maintain high-performance mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, and CICS.
Write and debug REXX scripts for automation and tooling.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Perform impact analysis, code reviews, and ensure adherence to best practices.
Provide support for production issues and participate in on-call rotations.
Work closely with QA, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality

software solutions.

Prepare technical documentation and support system integration Skills :

Strong hands-on experience in COBOL, JCL, CICS, and REXX.

Familiarity with VSAM, DB2, and TSO / ISPF.

Solid understanding of SDLC and mainframe batch and online processing.

Experience with debugging tools such as Xpediter, Abend-AID, or File-AID.

Ability to analyze and resolve complex technical problems Qualifications :

Exposure to mainframe modernization initiatives or tools (e.g., Micro Focus, API integrations).

Experience in Agile / Scrum methodologies.

Knowledge of change management tools like Endevor or Qualifications :

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
