Job description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Ensure materials meet specified standards before entering the production line.
- Monitor hygiene, storage conditions, and handling of raw materials.
- Verify batch documentation and compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Online product testing includes bulk density, viscosity, and raw material checks before issuance to
production.
Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Online Inspections and relevant foodsafety regulations (FSSAI, HACCP) during all processes.
Inspect pre-mixing, blending, and ingredient formulation processes.Perform routine laboratory tests on ingredients before and after processing.Ensure compliance with nutritional and microbiological standards.Identify deviations and take corrective / preventive actions.Work closely with the R&D team to optimize formulations.Identify and implement improvements in pre-process, during and post process quality control.Train production staff on quality and hygiene best practices.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including production and R&D to address anyquality-related issues or concerns.
Communicate test results, observations, and recommendations effectively to relevant stakeholders,both verbally and in written reports.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES :
EDUCATION - M.Sc / M.Tech in Food Technology, Biotechnology, Microbiology
EXEPERIENCE - 3-4 years of experience in Quality control
Good communication skillsExcellent attention to detail and analytical mindset.Strong knowledge of quality testing methods and equipment.Understanding of regulatory guidelines (FSSAI, GMP, HACCP, etc.).Good documentation and reporting skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.Effective communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environmentExperience of handling team membersKnowledge of MS excel and Powerpoint presentationApply now-
