Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated IP Billing Manager for our Bangalore location. This full-time, mid-level position requires a minimum of 4 years to a maximum of 6 years of work experience. The role involves managing inpatient billing functions and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of billing operations within the hospital. Ideal candidates will possess expertise in billing software and practices.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Expertise in CHIP billing software, essential for efficient billing processes (Mandatory skill).
  • Proficient in Medicaid / Medicare billing practices, crucial for compliance and timely reimbursements (Mandatory skill).
  • Experience with billing process automation to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors (Mandatory skill).
  • Familiarity with telecom billing systems to manage and resolve complex billing scenarios.
  • Strong understanding of revenue assurance to ensure accurate billing and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in using SQL for data analysis to evaluate and optimize billing procedures.
  • Experience with ERP systems for seamless integration of billing processes across departments.
  • Knowledge of GAAP compliance to maintain accuracy and integrity in financial transactions.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the inpatient billing department, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Implement and maintain billing procedures in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of billing operations.
  • Coordinate with medical and administrative staff to resolve billing discrepancies and optimize processes.
  • Conduct regular audits of billing records to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
  • Train and mentor staff on billing practices, software usage, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with IT to design and implement billing process improvements and automation strategies.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on billing performance to senior management.
