“Senior Engineer - Structures” for Large Scale BIM Projects

The team works on digital solutions such as Autodesk Document Management, Digital Twins, immersive VR environments and generative AI in BIM to increase productivity and enhance offerings while improving efficiency through better collaboration across oceans.

Your Profile :

1. Proficient in BIM technology using Revit, with certification as a Revit professional being an added advantage.

2. Experienced in Structural Analysis and Design using tools such as ETABS, STAAD Pro, and other relevant software.

3. Demonstrated capability in team leadership, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and effective coordination.

4. Proficient in Navisworks, including expertise in clash detection. Experience with 4D / 5D simulation and sequencing is considered an added advantage.

5. Extensive prior experience in BIM coordination, ensuring seamless collaboration across all disciplines involved in a project.

6. Strong knowledge of international construction standards and practices, including ACI, ASCE, and other relevant codes and specifications.

7. Conduct Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) activities, including model audits, documentation reviews, and adherence to BIM execution plans and project-specific protocols.

8. Prepare and deliver detailed reports, presentations, and design documentation to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout project phases.

9. Implement and maintain BIM standards and workflows, utilizing industry best practices and emerging technologies to enhance project efficiency and accuracy.

10. Skilled in project estimation, including quantity take-offs, cost analysis, and preparing detailed project budgets using BIM tools and industry-standard methodologies.

Certificates, Licenses or Registrations Preferred :

Autodesk Certified Professional preferred.

Education / Experience :

• Bachelors Degree in the field of Civil Engineering (BE / B.Tech). Masters in Structural Engineering from reputed institutions / NIT / IITs is a plus.
• Exceptionally good Diploma candidates with a flair for technology are welcome to apply.
• 8+ years of experience on large-scale international projects across regions including the US, UK, Canada, and the Middle East.
• Experience within the AEC outsourcing industry preferred.

Computer Skills :

To perform this job successfully, an individual is required to have expert experience with Revit, AutoCAD, and Autodesk-based vertical products. Knowledge of RAM Structural System (Steel Design), Adapt Concrete (Post Tensioned Design), Etabs or Stand (Advanced Modelling) & Enercalc (General Calculation Software) is desirable. Experience using Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are essential.

Language Skills :

Ability to read and interpret documents such as rules, operating & maintenance instructions, and policy / procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of clients and / or Teammates of the organization.

Mathematical Skills :

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability :

Ability to apply logic and common practice in order to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
