You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Hardware, Software, Validation, and Manufacturing to deliver best-in-class embedded solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the Embedded Design & Development activities for HFI (Human Factors & Interface) modules and products.
- Define embedded architecture and design specifications based on system requirements.
- Design, develop, and optimize embedded firmware / software for automotive HMI systems.
- Collaborate with Hardware Design, System Engineering, Validation, and Manufacturing teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Perform code reviews, design reviews, and system-level debugging.
- Ensure compliance with Automotive Embedded Standards like MISRA, ASPICE, ISO 26262.
- Lead the team in requirement analysis, effort estimation, and planning.
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and cross-functional teams for project deliverables.
- Conduct risk assessments, root cause analysis, and implement preventive actions.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers in technical and process areas.
Technical Skills Skills :
Strong experience in Embedded System Design & Development.Proficiency in Embedded C, C++ programming.Expertise in Microcontrollers & Microprocessors (ARM Cortex, NXP, Renesas, etc.Experience in working with HFI (Human Machine Interface) components Switches, Knobs, Touch Interfaces, Displays, etc.Good knowledge of Embedded Communication Protocols : CAN, LIN, SPI, I2C, UART.Hands-on experience in RTOS-based development (FreeRTOS, AUTOSAR OS, etc.Experience in Device Driver Development & Low-level Software Development.Strong debugging skills using JTAG, Lauterbach, Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzers.Tools & Standards :
Experience with Version Control Systems (Git, SVN).Exposure to Model-Based Development (MBD) tools like MATLAB / Simulink is an advantage.Familiarity with Static Code Analysis Tools (QAC, Polyspace, etc.Knowledge of Automotive Standards : MISRA C, ISO 26262 (Functional Safety), ASPICE compliance.Proficiency in Configuration & Change Management Tools (e.g. , JIRA, Polarion, DOORS).Preferred Skills :
