About Education & Skilling (E&S) Advisory

KPMG India’s E&S Advisory supports the evolving education and skill development sector, especially in the wake of digital transformation post-COVID-19. The team provides strategic advisory across areas like K-12, ECCE, foundational literacy, TVET, higher education, ed-tech, and more. It collaborates with governments, institutions, corporates, NGOs, and international donors, and is part of KPMG’s global education initiatives.

Job Summary :

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager to lead and support skill development consulting engagements in Delhi / NCR region.

The ideal candidate should bring deep expertise, sector knowledge and consulting experience in skill development, vocational education, training, workforce enhancement, skill gap studies, impact assessment, capacity building, etc. Vast experience of working with state and central governments / IFIs / large NGOs would be preferred.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Policy and advocacy / monitoring and evaluation / implementation experience of large skilling schemes.
  • Conduct training needs assessments, statistical analysis of incremental workforce requirement to identify skill gaps at state and sector level.
  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders including government bodies, NGOs, and training partners
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness and outcomes
  • Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and capacity-building activities
  • Strategic support on building markets by actively participating in business development and enhancing client connect.
  • Lead proposal development RFP / RFQ responses.
  • Develop TLs / research reports / best practices in TVET sector.

Qualifications & Experience :

  • Total 8-10 years of work experience of which 5-6 years of relevant experience in responsibilities mentioned above.
  • Master’s in business administration / economics / related field from top tier institutions (IIMs preferred).
  • In-depth understanding of TVET ecosystem (NSDC / SSCs / SSDMs / DDU-GKY / PMKYV / NAPS / etc.) along with latest reforms – NEP 2020.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects, manage stakeholders and drive outcomes .
  • Ability to perform in high stress situations with minimal supervision.
  • Strong exposure to working with government clients, donor agencies, large NGOs preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Project management skills with proficiency in tools like MS Excel, PowerPoint, and PM tools (e.g., MS Project, MS Visio)
  • Self-motivated and experience of managing / leading small / mid-sized teams
