We are seeking a dynamic and experienced faculty in teaching General Finance and Bloomberg background to join our esteemed academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education in finance, fostering a stimulating learning environment, and contributing to the academic growth of students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.Candidate with significant experience of teaching Financial Reporting and Analysis, Corporate Finance, Auditing Budget Analysis, financial Accounting, International Accounting, and Forensic Accounting and by integrating the Bloomberg Terminal into teaching and researchRoles and Responsibilities
Evaluate and grade students' work, including work performed in design studios.Prepare and deliver lectures to undergraduate or graduate students and responsible for ensuring that students learn proper grammar, writing, and reading comprehension, and other courses as assigned. Initiate, facilitate, and moderate classroom discussions. Guide class discussions.Integrate Bloomberg Terminal data and analytics into coursework, projects, and case studies.Guide students in earning Bloomberg Market Concepts (BMC) certification.Conduct research in a particular field of knowledge and publish findings in professional journals, books, or electronic media.Research topics in area of expertise : Write articles, books or other original materials in area of expertise. Plan, evaluate, and revise curricula, course content, and course materials and methods of instruction. Evaluate effectiveness of educational programs.Develop instructional objectives : Supervise undergraduate or graduate teaching, internship, and research work. Supervise student research or internship work.Interpersonal Skills :
Design, develop and deliver a range of programmes of study (sometimes for entirely new courses) at various levels.Develop and update course materials to incorporate Bloomberg functions and tools.Review on a regular basis course content and materials, updating when required.Develop and apply appropriate teaching techniques and material which create interest, understanding and enthusiasm amongst students.Ensure that course design and delivery comply with the quality standards and regulations of the university and department.Education and Experience
Doctorate degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.Bloomberg Certification (BMC or similar)Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in finance or accounting, preferably in higher education.Industry experience in finance, auditing, or related sectors is an advantage.Skills & Competencies :
Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and corporate finance.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Ability to engage and inspire students through innovative teaching techniques.Proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS) and financial software.
