Job description

Key Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Requirements Elicitation : Ability to meticulously collect, analyze, and document comprehensive requirements from various stakeholders and customers through interviews, workshops, and other elicitation techniques.
  • Process Improvement & Workflow Design : Demonstrate a strong understanding of how to create workflows and expertly identify areas for process improvements and optimization within customer support operations and other business functions.
  • Documentation & Specification : Create clear, concise, and detailed documentation, including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications Documents (FSDs), user stories, and comprehensive process maps. Basic knowledge in generating process documentation.
  • Technical Communication : Effectively communicate detailed requirements and functional designs to technical teams and various stakeholders, ensuring mutual understanding and alignment.
  • Collaboration & Liaison : Facilitate seamless communication and collaboration between key stakeholders, including customer support teams, business users, and technical development / IT teams.
  • Data Analysis & Insights : Work proficiently with data to clean, manipulate, and analyze data from various sources to draw business-relevant conclusions and provide meaningful insights and updates.
  • Quality Assurance & Testing : Actively participate in testing and quality assurance activities, ensuring that delivered solutions meet specified requirements and business objectives.
  • Project Monitoring : Monitor project progress by tracking activity, proactively resolving problems, publishing regular progress reports, and recommending corrective actions to keep projects on track.
  • Mentorship : Provide guidance and mentorship to junior business analysts, sharing best practices and supporting their professional growth.
  • Continuous Improvement : Contribute to the continuous improvement of business analysis processes, methodologies, and tools within the Skills & Qualifications :
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, or Quality Assurance, with a proven track record of successful project contributions.
  • A bachelor's degree in Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in eliciting requirements, conducting testing, and expert proficiency in BRD / FRD creation and development.
  • Strong data analysis skills :
  • Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience with pivot tables, data validation, conditional formatting, and charts.
  • Familiarity with data visualization techniques and tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
  • Basic proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation to extract insights.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
  • Ability to grasp fundamental IT concepts such as APIs, database structures, system integrations, and cloud environments to effectively communicate with technical teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including excellent technical writing skills.
  • Detail-oriented, highly analytical, and inquisitive mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Extremely organized with strong time-management skills.
  • The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
  • Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations to various audiences
