About the Role : This is a strategic, revenue-critical role at the intersection of ad tech, media sales, and data-driven marketing. The Programmatic Lead will own Zee5's
programmatic revenue targets for India
and will be responsible for defining and executing strategies that translate our ad tech capabilities into strong commercial outcomes. You'll be the
go-to expert on programmatic , both internally and externally—advising stakeholders, leading partner conversations, and evangelizing best practices to grow Zee5’s footprint in the programmatic ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities : Own and exceed the programmatic revenue target for Zee5’s India business. (PMPs, open exchange, programmatic guaranteed). Own the yield & execute monetization strategies that drive programmatic revenue and improve uplift. Align yield goals with sales, product, and analytics teams to create a unified monetization strategy. Define and execute SPO strategy in partnership with SSPs and internal ops teams Use data insights to make evidence-based optimizations to Zee5’s supply architecture. Work with SSPs to fine-tune floor pricing, blocklists, and ad quality filters. Cultivate and manage strong relationships with DSPs, SSPs, trading desks, agencies, and tech partners. Collaborate closely with product, operations, data, and sales teams to ensure platform readiness and campaign success. Analyse revenue trends, performance metrics, and user behaviour to inform strategic decisions. Stay ahead of industry trends, including changes in privacy, identity solutions, and programmatic innovations. Serve as an internal evangelist for programmatic, training sales teams and stakeholders on best practices and value propositions.
Job Requirement 10+ years of experience in programmatic ad tech, preferably with experience in OTT, digital media, or a publisher environment. Strong understanding of ad tech ecosystem—DSPs, SSPs, DMPs, CDPs, ad servers, and header bidding. Proven track record of driving programmatic revenue growth and managing high-level industry relationships. Strategic thinker with a commercial mindset and data fluency. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Passionate about technology, digital advertising, and innovation.
