CAD Specialist-Mumbai

Key Responsibilities

Pattern Design & Development

Create modify and optimize garment patterns using CAD software (Gerber Lectra or similar).

Ensure patterns are accurate scalable and production-ready.

Production Integration

Collaborate closely with the production team to ensure patterns align with PRODEMs lean production methods and short lead times.

Optimize marker-making to minimize fabric waste and improve material utilization.

Data & Documentation

Maintain a digital library of patterns blocks and garment specifications.

Ensure version control and proper documentation of all CAD files.

Collaboration & Liaison

Work as a bridge between design sales and production teams to deliver customer-specific designs efficiently.

Support sales teams with quick visualizations for customer approval.

Continuous Improvement

Contribute to PRODEM 2.0 initiatives (automation robotics AI and advanced 3D technologies).

Recommend improvements in digital workflows to reduce lead time and increase accuracy.

Qualifications & Experience

Education : Diploma / degree in fashion technology / CAD / CAM or related fields.

Experience : 4-7 years of experience in CAD pattern-making garment design or apparel manufacturing preferably in workwear or industrial clothing.

Technical Skills :

Proficiency in CAD software (Gerber Lectra or similar).

Knowledge of marker-making and material efficiency optimization.
