Lead Test Engineer

Position- Test Lead / Architect Experience : 8 +Years Location : Bangalore Notice Period : Immediate to serving Notice Period

Key Responsibilities : Own the QA strategy, test planning, and execution for backend APIs and UI. Design and implement

API test plans and automated test scripts

using

Postman ,

REST Assured , or similar tools. Lead and perform

Manual Testing

for complex business workflows and regression scenarios. Build and maintain

automation frameworks

using

Selenium ,

TestNG ,

Cypress , or similar. Integrate automated tests into CI / CD pipelines (Jenkins / GitLab CI). Review requirements, design detailed test cases, and track test coverage. Mentor junior QA engineers and conduct code and test case reviews. Analyze test results, debug issues, and provide detailed bug reports using tools like

JIRA . Work in Agile / Scrum teams and participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications : 8–10 years of experience in

Software Testing , with strong focus on : API Testing

REST / JSON / XML, tools like Postman, REST Assured). Automation Testing

Selenium, Java / Python, TestNG / JUnit / Cucumber). Manual Testing

Functional, Regression, UAT, Integration Testing). Hands-on experience building automation frameworks from scratch. Strong knowledge of

SDLC ,

STLC , and QA methodologies. Experience with

version control systems

like Git and CI tools like Jenkins. Familiarity with tools like

JIRA ,

TestRail ,

Confluence , or equivalents. Good understanding of databases and ability to write SQL queries.
