Engineering Manager - Backend Development

Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems and APIs using Golang and Python.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our development, test, and production environments.
• Ensure the security and integrity of data.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical :
• 8+ years of experience in backend development.
• Experience with AWS cloud services.
• Proficient in database design and management (SQL, NoSQL).
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration Qualifications :
• Experience in the insurance or fintech industry.
• Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in Southeast Asia.
• Experience with DevOps practices
