Roles and Key Responsibilities :
IBM WebSphere MQ Responsibilities Install, configure, and administer IBM WebSphere MQ (v9.x+) on Linux, Windows, and z / OS. Design and implement MQ clustering, high availability (HA), and disaster recovery (DR) strategies. Configure MQ objects (Queue Managers, Queues, Channels, Topics) for optimal performance. Implement MQ security (SSL / TLS, OAuth, LDAP, RBAC) and audit logging. Troubleshoot MQ performance bottlenecks, dead-letter queues, and connectivity issues. Automate MQ deployments using MQSC scripts, Ansible, or Python. Integrate IBM MQ with ACE / IIB, DataPower, Kafka, and other middleware. Monitor MQ environments using IBM MQ Explorer, Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk. WebSphere Application Server (WAS) Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS 9.x / 8.5). Deploy and manage Java / J2EE applications on WAS. Configure WebSphere clustering, dynamic scaling, and workload management. Optimize JVM settings, connection pools, and thread pools for high performance. Implement WAS security (LDAP, SSL, OAuth, SAML) and role-based access control. Troubleshoot application server crashes, memory leaks, and performance issues.
