Job Title :

SAP PPDS Consultant (Greenfield & Brownfield Experience)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a seasoned SAP PPDS Consultant with strong hands-on experience in both Greenfield and Brownfield SAP S / 4HANA implementations. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in production planning, detailed scheduling, and integration with other SAP modules, along with a proven ability to deliver in complex project environments.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and manage SAP PPDS configuration and implementation efforts across both Greenfield (new implementation) and Brownfield (system conversion / migration) projects.
  • Analyze client requirements and provide scalable, best-practice solutions in SAP PPDS.
  • Conduct business workshops to gather requirements related to production planning and scheduling.
  • Configure master data such as planning heuristics, PDS, PPMs, resources, and setup matrices.
  • Integrate PPDS with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP APO, MM, SD, WM, IBP, and MES systems).
  • Define and execute test scenarios; support user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Provide post-go-live support and continuous improvement recommendations.
  • Train key users and create end-user documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (business, technical, and project management).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the PPDS scope.

Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 6+ years of hands-on SAP PPDS experience, including at least 1 Greenfield and 1 Brownfield SAP S / 4HANA implementation.
  • Strong understanding of PPDS functionalities : finite / infinite planning, pegging, planning heuristics, optimizer, alert monitoring, and capacity leveling.
  • Experience with CIF (Core Interface) for master and transactional data transfer between ECC / S / 4 and APO / PPDS.
  • Proficient in integration with SAP ECC / S / 4HANA , IBP , and external planning / execution tools.
  • Familiarity with SAP Fiori and S / 4HANA innovations in the PPDS space.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
