Responsibilities : Install, configure, and manage SQL Server & PostgreSQL environments across Development, Staging, Production, and DR. Tune performance, optimize queries, manage indexing and server configuration. Implement robust backup & recovery, HA & DR strategies. Manage multi-tenant DBs in SaaS environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). Support ISV product teams through database design, optimization, and scaling. Implement and manage database security, encryption, and access controls. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, QA, DevOps, Infrastructure). Document and standardize database operations for cloud and on-premises deployments. Requirements : 5-7+ years of hands-on DBA experience in SQL Server & PostgreSQL production environments. Proven experience in performance tuning, security, HA & DR, scripting. Strong understanding of relational database design, indexing, transactions, and concurrency. Cloud database experience (AWS RDS, Azure DB for PostgreSQL / SQL, GCP) preferred. Scripting skills in SQL, PowerShell, Bash, Python. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of containerization (Docker / Kubernetes) is a plus.
