About the Role :

This is your front-row seat to the founder’s office at Nine Spot Seven—where curiosity meets context and market intelligence. If you love connecting the dots between global trends, economic shifts, and policy moves, and want to see how it all shapes financial markets, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Bring a basic understanding of financial products across banking, asset / wealth management, capital markets, economics, and policy.
  • Get hands-on with leading financial data sources and research tools, learning how to spot the signals that matter in a world full of noise.
  • Review and, if needed, conduct secondary research on emerging trends in the financial services industry (with a focus on asset / wealth management, capital markets, economics, and policy).
  • Synthesize and summarize key findings on global trends for our market insights.
  • Support periodic research outputs and contribute to competitive intelligence and factsheets as required.
  • Proactively share knowledge and industry updates with the founder and team.
  • Jump in on ad hoc projects and special assignments—every week could bring something new.

Who Should Apply :

  • Background in finance, consulting, capital markets law, economics, policy or a master’s / pre-MBA program. Minimum 2 years of experience in finance (including internships)
  • Curious about financial markets, policy, and global events.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment where priorities can shift and every day brings something new.
  • Clear, confident written communication—comfortable analyzing complex institutional-grade content

    • Open to interns with relevant finance experience as well.
