SAP Basis Consultant (Kubernetes + Cloud + BTP)

Location : Remote.

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Basis Consultant with over 6 years of experience in SAP Basis administration, including hands-on experience with Kubernetes, cloud platforms (AWS or Azure), and SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform).

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing SAP system landscapes, enabling cloud-native deployments, and supporting the integration and management of services on BTP.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage and support SAP Basis operations including installation, configuration, patching, monitoring, and performance tuning.
  • Deploy and administer SAP systems (e.g., S / 4HANA, NetWeaver, BW / 4HANA) on Kubernetes platforms (EKS, AKS, GKE, or on-prem clusters).
  • Support and manage SAP workloads on AWS or Azure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
  • Work with SAP BTP for extending, integrating, and building SAP applications using BTP services (e.g., SAP Integration Suite, Extension Suite, CAP, Fiori, etc.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot SAP systems using SAP Solution Manager and integrate with cloud-native monitoring tools.
  • Automate operational tasks using scripts and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to support DevOps pipelines and containerized SAP components.
  • Participate in architecture reviews and capacity planning for SAP environments across on-prem and cloud.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

  • 6+ years of experience in SAP Basis administration.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (AKS, EKS, or similar).
  • Strong expertise in either AWS or Azure cloud services.
  • Practical experience with SAP BTP, including service provisioning, connectivity, and integration.
  • Experience with SAP HANA, S / 4HANA, and legacy SAP systems.
  • Proficiency in Linux (SUSE / RHEL) system administration and scripting.
  • Experience with DevOps tools, CI / CD, and monitoring solutions.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) the foundation of the Intelligent Enterprise.

  • Intelligent Supply Chain this includes Yard management, Truck loading, Transportation management, and Mapping inside the closed locations.
  • Rise with SAP for the mid-market segment with end-to-end S / 4 implementation, either Greenfield or Brownfield.
  • Barcode, RFID, and Enterprise Mobile computing : This allows Crave to provide end-to-end solutions for EAM, warehouse and shop floor users combining SAP, hardware, software, and middleware.
