Job Title : Sourcing Manager – Electrical Home Appliances

Location : Mumbai (Candidates must be based in Mumbai and willing to travel to Powai)

Experience Required : 8 – 10 years

Education : B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

Reports to : Product Head

Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sourcing Manager to join our team at Wonderchef Home Appliances . The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in sourcing electrical home appliances such as mixer grinders, juicers, sandwich makers, and toasters . The role requires end-to-end ownership of the sourcing lifecycle, including new product development, vendor development, quality assurance, and commercial negotiations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the sourcing and procurement of small electrical kitchen appliances.
• Drive new product development in collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors and suppliers for components and finished goods.
• Ensure products meet the company’s quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with design and product teams to align sourcing with product development goals.
• Conduct price negotiations and finalize contracts to ensure cost efficiency.
• Ensure on-time procurement and delivery to meet business timelines.
• Establish long-term vendor relationships while maintaining competitive pricing.
• Regularly visit suppliers’ facilities and monitor performance and production quality.
