Automation Developer

Job descriptionWrite efficient, reliable, and maintainable automated test scripts using relevant programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript). Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and report findings to the team. Integrate automated tests into Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI / CD) pipelines to enable faster feedback loops and continuous quality assurance. Work closely with DevOps engineers to streamline the release process. Identify, document, and track software defects found through automation, working closely with development teams for timely resolution. Perform root cause analysis of test failures and provide detailed reports. Collaborate with manual QA engineers to identify test cases suitable for automation. Work with developers and product owners to understand new features and functionalities for effective test coverage. Potentially mentor junior team members on automation best practices. Research and evaluate new tools, technologies, and testing strategies to improve automation effectiveness and efficiency. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA process and automation standards. Experience : 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience in test automation development. Programming Languages : Strong proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language, preferably Java or Python. Solid experience with UI automation frameworks like Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, or Cypress. Proven experience with API automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Rest Assured, Postman, SoapUI). Testing Methodologies : Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies (Agile / Scrum), and STLC. Version Control : Proficiency with Git and standard branching / merging strategies. Test Management & Bug Tracking : Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., TestLink, Zephyr) and defect tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps). Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner). Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Knowledge of mobile automation frameworks (e.g., Appium). Experience with BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber, SpecFlow). ISTQB Advanced Level Test Automation Engineer certification. Position : Automation Developer
As an Automation Developer at Stalwart Innovations, you will be a key contributor to our Quality Assurance and DevOps initiatives.
Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of our software applications.
You will work closely with development, manual QA, and DevOps teams to integrate automation into our continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
