Position Title : Senior Engineer DevOps Job Description : Key Responsibilities : Design, deploy, and manage infrastructure using

Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

services including

Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, IAM, and VPC networking . Manage and optimize

Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)

clusters for containerized workloads, including autoscaling, monitoring, and security configurations. Build and maintain robust

CI / CD pipelines

using tools such as

Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins , enabling automated testing, deployment, and rollback strategies. Integrate security and compliance checks into the deployment lifecycle (DevSecOps). Orchestrate and automate data workflows using

GCP Composer (Apache Airflow) . Support

GCP Dataflow

pipelines for real-time and batch data processing. Integrate with

BigQuery

for data warehousing and analytics use cases. Configure and maintain

Apache Kafka

clusters for high-throughput, low-latency event streaming. Monitor Kafka performance and ensure message reliability and fault tolerance. Develop and deploy

Cloud Functions

for event-driven automation and microservices. Manage

Cloud Storage

buckets, lifecycle policies, and access controls for secure and efficient data storage. Implement observability solutions using

Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging , and third-party tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana). Participate in on-call rotations, incident response, and post-mortem analysis to improve system reliability.

Must-Have Skills : 5-7 years of hands-on experience in a

DevOps / Cloud Engineer

role. Strong experience with

Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

services and architecture. Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)

and container orchestration. CI / CD tools

such as

GitHub Actions, Cloud Build, or Jenkins . GCP Composer (Apache Airflow)

for workflow orchestration. GCP Dataflow

BigQuery

for data processing and analytics. Cloud Functions

Cloud Storage

management. Proficiency in scripting languages such as

Python ,

Bash .

Good-to-Have Skills : Knowledge of

DevOps

practices and integrating security into CI / CD pipelines. Experience with

monitoring and alerting tools

like

Prometheus ,

Grafana . Familiarity with

data governance ( ex.data differentiation and security) ,

cost optimization (ex. IAM integrations) , and

compliance

ex. VPCSC security perimeter) in cloud environments. Exposure to

hybrid cloud like GCP, Azure . Experience with

Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)

tools like

Terraform , Bicep, or Pulumi.
