Job Overview :
We are looking for an experienced Functional Safety (FuSA) Engineer to join our Automotive SoC development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ISO 26262 / IEC 61508 standards, functional safety analyses, and VLSI design methodologies. You will play a key role in ensuring that our SoC designs meet stringent functional safety requirements for automotive Responsibilities :
- Apply ISO 26262 and IEC 61508 standards in SoC design and verification
- Perform Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), and Failure Modes Effect and
Diagnostic Analysis (FMEDA)
Drive functional safety concepts, requirements, and design strategies into SoC development processesWork with cross-functional teams on the development of automotive SoCs including VLSI design and methodology practicesContribute to ASIC design process, digital design concepts, verification strategies, and SoC architectureSupport safety lifecycle management across product development stagesInterface with design, verification, validation, and quality assurance teams to ensure compliance with safety Candidate Profile :Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with ISO 26262 / IEC 61508 functional safety standardsProven expertise in FMEA, FTA, FMEDA methodologiesStrong background in automotive SoC development, VLSI design, and design methodologiesGeneral knowledge of ASIC design processes, digital design concepts, verification tools / techniques, and SoC architecture7+ years of overall industry experience in semiconductor or automotive domainsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and cross-functional collaboration abilitiesref : hirist.tech)
