About Teqfocus :

Teqfocus is seeking a highly skilled Amazon Connect and Cloud Engineer to join our growing cloud engineering team. This role requires a deep understanding of AWS services, strong experience in API integrations, virtual machine (VM) orchestration, and expertise in AWS Connect . The ideal candidate will have a strong development background and a passion for scalable, automated cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

1. API Development and Integration

Design, develop, and manage robust, secure APIs for seamless data exchange between various enterprise systems.
Implement integrations between Salesforce and external platforms such as print and mail services, using RESTful APIs and AWS Lambda.
Maintain detailed documentation for API endpoints, request / response formats, and integration workflows.

2. AWS Connect and Contact Center Engineering

Design and manage Amazon Connect flows, queues, routing profiles, and integration with third-party systems.

Implement features using Contact Lens for call analytics, sentiment analysis, and compliance tracking.

Create and manage custom call flows, Lex bots, and Lambda functions to enhance contact center capabilities.

3. Infrastructure & VM Integrations

Deploy and maintain scalable virtual machine environments on EC2 or other compute services.

Implement and automate security best practices, monitoring, backups, and failover mechanisms.

Work with CloudFormation or Terraform to manage infrastructure as code.

4. DevOps and Automation

Build CI / CD pipelines using tools like AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.

Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting using AWS CloudWatch and third-party tools.

Optimize resource usage and cost through automation and performance tuning.

5. Collaboration and Technical Leadership

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Dev, QA, and Product Management to deliver integrated solutions.

Provide architectural guidance and mentor junior engineers on cloud best practices.

Drive code reviews, design discussions, and enforce coding standards and security policies.

Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

6+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure and solutions engineering, with a focus on AWS.

Strong hands-on experience with :

RESTful API development and integration

Amazon Connect (flows, queues, routing, Contact Lens)

EC2, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch, S3, CloudFormation

Proficiency in scripting (Python, Node.js, or Shell) for automation and orchestration.

Experience with Git and Agile development methodologies.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Certifications (Preferred) :

AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate / Professional
