Job Summary
We are looking for a Sales Manager with a proven track record of selling IT Services and Products in the Banking and Financial Services domain , specifically targeting clients in the Africa region . The ideal candidate will be responsible for new client acquisition, account management, lead generation, and closing deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive business development and sales for IT Services and Products in the BFS domain focused on the Africa market .
- Identify and generate new leads through market research, networking, and cold calling.
- Understand customer needs and propose appropriate testing solutions (manual, automation, functional, non-functional).
- Create compelling proposals, presentations, and commercial models.
- Maintain strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor.
- Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Coordinate with delivery, pre-sales, and senior management to ensure smooth client onboarding and project delivery.
- Represent Yethi in client meetings, industry forums, and exhibitions across Africa (travel may be required occasionally).
Requirements
8+ years of experience in sales / business development, with at least 3+ years in BFS IT Services and ProductsStrong experience in Africa-based markets within the BFS segment. Proven experience in having closed deals interacting with Clients in Africa regionDemonstrated ability to close mid to large-size deals (preferably enterprise deals).Familiarity with core banking systems (like Flexcube, T24, Finacle), digital banking platforms, and QA / testing lifecycle.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Willingness to work from Mumbai or Bengaluru - work from OfficeAbility to join in 30 days or less is mandatory.Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience working with banks, financial institutions, or consulting firms serving African BFS clients.Exposure to test automation tools, test management platforms, and QA strategy consulting.
