We are hiring a passionate and driven Marketing and Communications Assistant for an innovative leader in the EdTech space. In this entry-level role, you will assist in developing engaging content, managing our digital presence, and supporting various marketing initiatives that aim to empower educators and learners worldwide. Key Responsibilities :
Content Creation : Assist in creating informative and engaging content for our website, blog, social media platforms, and email campaigns, aimed at showcasing the value of our EdTech solutions to educators, students, and parents.
Social Media Management : Help manage and schedule content across multiple social media channels (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) to engage our audience and build community. Monitor engagement and respond to comments / messages in a timely manner.
Campaign Support : Support the execution of marketing campaigns that highlight product launches, new features, and educational events, working closely with the marketing team to track success and gather insights for future campaigns.
Email Marketing : Assist in creating email newsletters and promotional campaigns, segmenting audiences, and analyzing campaign performance to improve future outreach.
Market Research : Conduct research on education trends, competitor products, and customer needs to help inform marketing strategies and improve the effectiveness of campaigns.
Brand Messaging : Help maintain consistent brand messaging and tone across all marketing materials and communications, ensuring alignment with our mission of improving education through technology.
Event Coordination : Assist in planning and promoting webinars, online courses, and other virtual events to engage with our target audience of educators, students, and educational institutions.
Administrative Support : Provide general administrative support to the marketing team, including updating marketing calendars, preparing reports, and assisting with data tracking.
Requirements :
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Education, or a related field (or in progress).
Experience : 0-2 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field. Previous internship experience in marketing or education is a plus.
Skills :
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing trends.
Interest in education technology and the ability to create content that resonates with educators, students, and parents.
Basic understanding of email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact) and content management systems is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Knowledge of design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is an advantage.
