Sr Analyst - Infrastructure Services

Essential Job Functions :

Provide expert technical support in infrastructure services, responding to complex issues and inquiries for Windows servers 2012,2016 & 2019, VMware environment 7.03.

In-depth expertise in Windows Operating Systems including components, VMWare ESXI and Vcentre including the ability to interpret and analyze various system logs.

Knowledge of hardware management tools like HP C700, OneView and Dell VxRail.

Advanced monitoring and performance tuning of Windows servers.

Intermediate level of knowledge in Microsoft PowerShell scripting.

Proficient in using various Windows commands and PowerShell commands for troubleshooting network connectivity issues related to servers.

Collaborating with network teams to resolve complex connectivity problems.

Applying security patches and updates to Windows Servers. Troubleshoot and fix any patch failure by reading various logs, registries, and processes.

Maintaining compliance with security policies and guidelines.

Continuously monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure systems, ensuring optimal performance

Collaborate with the team to improve infrastructure efficiency and resolve technical challenges.

Participate in the development of infrastructure documentation, including incident reports and configuration details.

Apply deep technical knowledge to address complex infrastructure-related problems.

Follow established best practices and standards in infrastructure service delivery.

Apply critical thinking and technical skills to find solutions to infrastructure issues.

Ensuring high availability and disaster recovery setups.

Basic Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience

Typically, 12+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 8+ years in a similar role

Proven experience in infrastructure technology analysis

Proficiencies in data analysis and problem-solving

A continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology

Other Qualifications :

An advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus.

Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified : Windows Server, VMware Certified Professional (VCP), or similar are a plus.

Prior experience with BigFix Tool is a plus.

Beginner level experience AWS cloud computing
